Jedward to launch new fashion range inspired by Michael Jackson

Not content with trying to conquer the world of music, Jedward are now dipping their toes into the fashion industry by launching their own clothes label.

The X Factor twins, 18, are setting up a new fashion line called Pop Icons, which will be inspired by Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury.

Edward Grimes told The Sun: “Fashion is our big passion and our collection will look hot on the catwalk.”

“We love the jackets worn by Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury and think everybody will love to wear stuff like that.”

“Our clothes will have lots of bold colours and cool patterns.”

He added that he could be modelling the new collection with brother John as both are signed to agency Next Models.

“We have experience. We know how to pose and walk, plus we’ve worked with some big-name photographers.”

Manager Louis Walsh is currently in talks with High Street fashion stores.

Their new plans come as the twin’s debut album Planet Jedward flopped, coming in at number 17 in the charts.
